The staff at the Farmington Valley Health Districts(FVHD) have done a great job of keeping us safe, communicating and advising the community and helping businesses open safely. They have created this poster about COVID Fatigue which I found very useful and thought I would share. Thanks FVHD team for all you are doing!!

From FVHD:

Are you tired of COVID-19 yet? Feel overwhelmed each time you turn on the news or read a newspaper? You are probably suffering from COVID fatigue! COVID fatigue is the feeling of being tired of COVID -19. Tired of hearing about it, tired of your mask, tired of not being back to "normal". We all feel it, but we cannot ignore the importance of preventing COVID-19 . Here are ways to cope from COVID fatigue

  • Limit how much you watch the news.
  • Exercise regularly.
  • Talk about it. Voice your concerns and frustrations in a respectful manner .
  • Continue to be safe and listen to your state's restrictions.
  • Consult your local health department with any questions you have.
  • Stay positive! You can go outside and enjoy your favorite restaurant- just do so with caution.
  • Practice gratitude.

We are all struggling at accept our new 'normal' but now more than ever it is important for us to follow public health guidance and remain alert and focused on wearing our masks, washing our hands and maintaining social distance. Please take care of yourself mentally and physically and remember - We Are In This Together!
