Charlene Kilcomons, a local artist known for her atmospheric landscapes, and wonderful still-life paintings is proud to announce the opening of her solo art show at the Barney Library in Farmington, CT.

This Art Show is entitled: Gathered Moments and will feature a stunning collection of original works that demonstrate Charlene’s appreciation for the beauty all around us, and how important it is to simply notice this beauty. This is no ordinary art show. In the spirit of paying-it-forward a portion of all sales from this show will be donated to four important causes:

The Farmington Libraries, The Hill-Stead Museum, Wounded Warriors, and St Jude’s Hospital. “I see so much beauty around me that I just have to try to capture it on canvas. I hope that my art will invite the viewer in and perhaps evoke an emotion, stir a memory, or tell a story. If I am able to do that, then I am very pleased.” Charlene says, “This show is about more than just showcasing my work. It is about sharing the beauty around me, making connections with the viewer, and most importantly donating a percentage of sales to organizations with a strong purpose.”

The show will run November 9th to December 9th and is open to the public during library’s regular hours.
