Tunxis Hose Celebrates 130 Years

Saturday, July 8th marked the 130th Anniversary of the Tunxis Hose Company No. 1 Parade. Spectators lined the streets of Unionville to watch as fire companies from across the state and beyond gathered to take part in this annual tradition.

Companies competed for a number of awards including Best Overall Fire Unit, Best Appearing Apparatus, Best Appearing Color Guard and more!
