Farmington Valley Offering VNA Flu clinics to local businesses

August is National Immunization Awareness Month so now is the perfect time to remind everyone to get their flu shot. With COVID-19 still active, the last thing anyone wants is to get the flu and then catch COVID 19. This is the year to get the flu vaccine ! Flu season starts in October and peaks from December through February. The Farmington Valley VNA will provide flu clinics at local businesses. The minimum number to be vaccinated must be 10, and employees' families may be included, including children 9 years and older. The VNA takes the following insurances: Medicare – Part B, Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Connecticare, Harvard Pilgrim and United Health Care – State Retiree Plan. There is a real benefit to keeping your employees healthy throughout the year.
