Miss Porter's School Summer Programs Virtual Information Session

Why all-girls Leadership Programs Create Future Female Leaders
Did you know that girls in single-gender learning environments develop higher confidence and leadership skills? Summer Programs at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, CT offer exclusive all-girls leadership camps that inspire elementary through high school students to think globally, act boldly, and lead confidently. Girls who attend Summer Programs are positioned to lead and have access to programming that will prepare them to be leaders in high school and beyond.
Research shows that all-girls programs create safe spaces for young women to speak up, take risks, and lead with courage. That’s exactly what Miss Porter’s School’s Summer Programs are all about. Studies have consistently shown that girls thrive in leadership when given space to develop their voices in supportive, single-gender settings.
Miss Porter’s School’s Summer Programs are built on these principles—creating a dynamic environment where girls gain hands-on leadership experience while learning from inspiring female mentors. There are two Summer Programs tracks, one for elementary school girls and one for middle school and early high school girls.
Daisy Days is Miss Porter’s School's new day camp for girls entering grades 3-5 in the fall of 2025, from June 23 - August 1, 2025. Designed to be full of joy and discovery, this day camp helps girls find their confidence to be their unique, authentic selves while having a ton of summer fun. They will explore music and dance during Swiftie Summer, expand their imaginations during Enchanted Explorers, or be their authentic selves during Bee Brilliant!
Summer in Farmington is a residential camp for middle school girls entering grades 6-9 in the fall of 2025. This program has been running for over 20 years. Campers can choose to work intensively on their leadership skills through the Sarah Porter Leadership Institute, work towards making positive change in their communities through the Lead with Impact program, or gain specialized content knowledge and skills through one of our three Institutes run in partnership with Miss Porter’s School academic departments.
