The Farmington Food Pantry, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, funded solely through donations and staffed entirely by volunteers. We currently serve over 215 Farmington families (roughly 400 people). All clients are pre-qualified by Farmington Community Services. The pantry operates on a “Clients Choice” program which allows clients to pick the items they like and need, rather than being given a pre-packaged bag of food. During the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the pantry has pivoted to a “drive-thru” pantry model to keep both clients and volunteer staff safe. We hope to welcome our shoppers back into the building in the near future.
